A combination of color, form, and line that does not represent anything from our material world is a general description of abstract art and photography. Abstract art is considered a visual language also. Abstract photographers set as their goal to capture, in their picture, some object, place, or person as the subject of the picture that will not be recognizable. The obscurity of the subject object is something the photographer strives for. The picture/photograph should capture an idea or some imagery from the photographer’s mind. Depending on their’ ideas, the picture could be conspicuous and openly showing specific subjects for a reason, or inconspicuously. The photographer could choose to purposefully hide parts of the subject to make the viewer think.
